Hello Realmers! I live! (Barely - Send Coffee ☕️)
In case you were wondering, I've completed four college classes in a little less than two months. If you know what that's like, I send prayers and hugs, but if not, it basically means I've had no time to write. However, I did manage to squeeze out one scene of my tired brain, but it wasn't a Realms thing. It's a brand new book. That's not a YA Fantasy. But if you like Sci-Fi/Dsytopian thing than you'll love it.
Back to Realms though! I ran a fun experiment with Chat GPT with my second draft (Hey, don't roll your eyes and say that's dumb) The finding were interesting, and a little heartbreaking. Copilot actually help me draft some scenes tor book two that nearly made me cry - and that's hard to do.
However, I do not recommend using Copilot as your only source of developmental editing. While it examined my entire 27 Chapters of a PDF, it also left out a ton of elements of the story and even some characters. I went back and told Copilot about these elements and it adjusted accordingly, but still not the goal I had originally had in mind. Yet, it came up with pretty neat ideas and a new storyline that I may interwine with the current story line. So not a complete waste, but also, probably recommend getting a qualified developmental editor.
As for now, that's all. I'm going to go crawl back into my Hobbit Hole of Business Management classes now. Keep writing. Keep reading. And stay amazing.
